Business texting setup (10DLC)

Before your account can text leads, US carriers require a quick one-time business registration (called A2P 10DLC). You can do it with a guided wizard, or let the AI concierge handle it for you.

Why this step exists

To stop spam, US mobile carriers require every business that sends texts to register its brand and campaign. It's a one-time setup that unlocks reliable, compliant texting from your own dedicated number — your traffic never shares a number with anyone else.

Option A — the guided wizard

Open Settings → Messaging for a three-step wizard with live status badges:

  1. Register your business (brand)

    Provide your legal business name, EIN, entity type, industry, website, contact, and US address.

  2. Create your texting campaign

    Describe how you'll use texting (lead follow-up, reminders, etc.). This is submitted for carrier review.

  3. Get your number

    Claim your dedicated number, optionally in a preferred area code.

Each step shows its one-time or monthly fee up front and is drawn from your usage wallet; fees are refunded automatically if a step fails. Use "Check status" to poll carrier review — approval typically takes a little time, and until it's approved you'll see "your dedicated number is being set up."

Option B — let the AI concierge do it

Prefer not to fill out forms? On the Messaging page choose "Let the AI set this up for you." The setup assistant opens a chat, asks for the details it needs conversationally, and registers your brand, creates the campaign, and provisions your number for you — charging the same fees as it goes.

Who can do this

Business registration and the AI concierge are manager-only. If the AI assistant isn't configured for your account, the concierge steps you back to the manual wizard automatically.

After approval

Once your campaign is approved and a number is assigned, you can text leads from any contact record, and your AI rep can send approved texts and blasts. Every message is metered from your wallet at the rate shown on the pricing page.

Stay compliant

Only text people who have opted in, always honor STOP and HELP, and make consent optional (never a condition of purchase). Your public forms and our Privacy Policy and Terms carry the required consent language.
